As you know from my previous post, I have moved to Kona, Hawaii to go to YWAM's Discipleship Training School. After being here for almost 2 weeks, I have really gotten settled into the community here. There are about 70 people in my class, ranging from the ages of 17-36, and everyone here shares an mutual hunger for the Lord. Many of the people here have sold their houses, cars, etc...to come here and experience the fullness of what the Lord has for them. That may sound "crazy" but it sounds like a story that would fit well in the pages of the Bible. Almost everyone I have met has been filled with a raw hunger for the experiential knowledge of God! That just brings joy to my soul because the Lord PROMISES that they will be filled in Matthew 5:6. With that being said, there has already been some POWERFUL worship services and ministry times. Our class is definitely a motley crew. There are 11 different nations represented and the students come from every walk of life imaginable. (Drug addicts, make-up artists, website developers, contractors, students, hair stylists, nurses, etc.) This creates some interesting conversations, however, the beauty of it all is that we all share a love for Jesus. Even after just a week and a half we feel like we have known each other forever, so there is truly a community being formed. In the past week, we have been getting to hear the history and vision of the Community Transformations class. Many salvations, healing miracles, and faith stories have come from the previous classes. This makes me very excited for what is to come. We also were asked to pray and choose where we thought the Lord wanted us to go on our 3 month outreach, and I chose Mozambique, Africa. This country is known as one of the poorest countries in the world, so I am looking forward to helping the people here. While we are there we will be partnering and working with Heidi Baker's Ministry, and where ever else the Lord leads us. This trip has blown my mind so far and I know that there is a lot more to come. I just want to thank those that have supported me through prayer or financial support, I couldn't do it without you. Please continue to prayerfully consider supporting/partnering with me financially. One time gifts are great or you can consider giving monthly. You can donate by clicking the pay pal button on my page or you can send a check to the address below. If you want a tax write off make the checks out to The LOT Project and leave the memo blank. Put a sticky note on it notifying that the money is for the trip. I thank you for taking the time to read this update, for praying for me, and for helping financially. Please pray for me as I continue to follow the Lord's leading!
